Scheme Overview & Benefits
A flagship Central Sector scheme implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare along with NABARD to promote agri-entrepreneurship and self-employment. It provides NABARD-refinanced bank loans with back-ended capital subsidies for establishing customized agriculture clinics, soil-testing labs, custom hiring centers, agro-service centers, and farm input ventures.
Eligibility Criteria
Subsidy Rate: 36% composite subsidy for general category male applicants; 44% for women, SC/ST, and North-Eastern/Hilly area applicants.
Project Loan Limit: Up to ₹20.00 Lakhs for individual projects (extendable up to ₹25.00 Lakhs for extremely viable models) and up to ₹1.00 Crore for a group of 5 trained individuals.
Eligibility: Graduates or diploma holders in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences, Dairy, Poultry, or Forestry, as well as science graduates with agriculture specialization.
