A transformative digital public infrastructure initiative approved with an outlay of Rs. 2,817 Crore to digitalize agricultural governance across India. The mission creates AgriStack, which provides every verified farmer with a unique Digital Farmer ID (similar to Aadhaar for agriculture), backed by a digital land registry and real-time Digital Crop Surveys (geotagged crop sown records). This enables instant, paperless delivery of government subsidies (PM-KISAN, fertilizer aid, crop insurance claims), hassle-free Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loans without physical paperwork, and customized weather/crop advisories through the Krishi-DSS geospatial satellite decision system.
Eligibility Criteria
All landholding and cultivating farmers across India with verified Aadhaar and land revenue records (7/12 & 8-A in Gujarat).
