Scheme for 73% Capital Subsidy & Interest Subvention on Loans for Construction of Godowns

This special high-subsidy flagship infrastructure program by the Government of Gujarat is aimed at radically empowering cooperative societies, particularly in tribal (TASP), underdeveloped, and remote rural belts. Under this scheme, eligible Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) receive a massive 73% capital subsidy against the sanctioned construction cost of agricultural godowns, alongside structured interest subvention on the loan component. This substantial financial relief enables rural cooperatives to establish state-of-the-art warehouses with minimum capital burden, ensuring robust food security, zero-loss grain storage, and strong rural economies.
